Assist associates in attaining objectives., • Liaise with European, US and Taiwanese counterparts to plan projects, overcome possible obstacles and assure customer satisfaction, • Responsible for Rework inventory and stock movement, • Setting and reviewing Oracle Routings and BOMs., • Liaise with Inventory Planning/Demand Planning/Order Management to ensure order fulfilment., • Define Oracle processes required for Rework activities., • Provide costing analysis and advice to the sales team when new products are created., • Monitor Oracle transactions and resolve any issues. Escalate with IT Oracle support if required., • Investigate any issues identified and reported with product previously reworked and shipped, • Produce job instructions for new bundles, ECO’s and excess conversion requirements, • Create Discrete Jobs and attach job instructions, • Communicate changes in departmental processes to the RW team, • Communicate any packing or Oracle errors to RW associates and maintain an Error log. Introduce measures to reduce error rate., • Responsible for overall control of WIP job scheduling and ensuring staff resources are available to meet deadlines, • Cost and efficiency saving analysis and implementation, • Procure components for bundles and other NERR related products through local and European suppliers, • Stock adjustments for consumable items with a value less than $200, • Maintaining forms for booking out Tape guns, Knives, SD cards, keys, • Process owner for Non-ECO rework requests. Responsible for requesting any changes in the process or to the format of document GEQS_160, • Source components for ECO requirements through Olathe, Taiwan and Europe, • Compile a monthly rework report, and provide breakdown/analysis of output, costs and KPI’s., • Analyse the department’s performance and report KPI’s to superiors., • Responsible for defining and maintaining Rework processes (Record processes and map process flows). Requirement to continually improve processes and drive efficiencies while reducing costs to the company, • Provide comprehensive training, tuition and assistance for the team, • Work closely with the Inventory Planning, Demand Planning, Order Management and Warehouse teams to ensure job deadlines are met with efficient use of resources., • Maintain technical rework areas. Ensure all hardware is correct spec and functions correctly, • Work closely with Europe QA to implement effective quality assurance processes, • Maintain SN control of all products, • Maintain update applications and SW. Work with Olathe and TWN to implement updates. Standards & Documentation • Establish and maintain EC&I technical documentation (e.g., drawings, loop diagrams, schematics) and ensure compliance with site change control procedures., • Implement standards for the management of safety-critical systems, ensuring appropriate performance levels (e.g., SIL determinations) are met., • Support development of site procedures, work instructions, and best practices in line with company policies and legal obligations. Continuous Improvement • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce cost, and improve safety within EC&I disciplines., • Keep abreast of emerging technologies, standards, and best practices; recommend upgrades and innovations to maintain a competitive edge., • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, sharing knowledge, and mentoring other engineering team members. Contractor & Stakeholder Management • Manage EC&I contractors and vendors, including selection, contract negotiation, and oversight of quality control., • Liaise with external stakeholders (e.g., HSE, Environment Agency) and represent the site’s EC&I interests in audits or inspections., • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Operations, R&D, QA, and other engineering functions to align priorities and deliver effective solutions. Budget & Resource Management • Support the Engineering Manager in developing and managing budgets related to EC&I projects and maintenance activities, • Monitor spending against budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising safety or performance., • Proactively plan resource needs and schedule work to minimize downtime and disruption to production. Key Requirements: Education & Certifications • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering (or a related discipline)., • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status preferred or working towards it. Experience • 5–10 years of EC&I engineering experience within a high-hazard chemical, petrochemical, or similar industrial environment., • Proven track record in executing and commissioning EC&I projects, including cost control and contractor management., • Familiarity with COMAH regulations and major hazard site requirements. Technical Skills • Strong knowledge of process control systems (PLC, DCS), instrumentation calibration, loop checking, and functional safety (IEC 61508/61511)., • Understanding of electrical distribution systems (Low/High Voltage), BS7671 wiring regulations, and relevant directives., • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and maintenance systems (e.g., CMMS/Agility). Senior Process Engineer Location: Flexible Office/client visits as required Permanent full-time (40 hours) Competitive salary plus benefits We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer with wastewater experience to support other senior and principal members of the team in the delivery of key frameworks and projects. Liaison with clients, contractors and third-party stakeholders on a daily basis ensuring the most effective solutions and recommendations are provided to the Client. A key part of Engineering team, you will be working with a wide variety of clients across the UK water industry on water and wastewater projects. Core Responsibilities: • A key member of the Aqua Engineering team providing expert process knowledge and input into water and wastewater design utility and delivery schemes., • Capacity assessments into both water and wastewater treatment works to assess issues and come up with options for new process streams as required., • Calculations and gap analysis to assess needs to ensure treatment works are compliant with the current and new consent requirements., • Creation of mass balances, P+IDs, control philosophies and commissioning plans., • Participation in HAZOPS, HAZIDS and HAZCOMMS as required., • Assessment of potable treatment works, raw water deterioration parameters and any network risks., • Assessment of wastewater treatment works for feasibility options to meet new compliance parameters., • Creation of process options in sufficient detail to either go onto outline or detailed design., • Detailed technical report writing based on the outcomes of calculations and collated site data., • Stakeholder engagement across the water companies and other clients as required in order to pull data and scheme solutions together., • Collaboration and interaction with the costing team in order to efficiently cost all options., • Carryout client liaison and coordination, including reporting of progress., • Project management of the tasks and deliverables required as part of the design packages., • Conduct technical reviews of existing sites for troubleshooting purposes and be able to suggest process optimisation parameters., • Assist project managers and site staff in evaluating data from site during commissioning and optimisation to facilitate successful project completion and meeting of compliance criteria., • Give advice on best process engineering practice, including consent compliance, chemical handling and general design and operability health and safety., • Development and promotion of environmental best practice., • Attendance at stakeholder meetings & site visits., • Attend design workshops., • Desire and ability to work independently when needed., • Support and mentoring to graduate members of the team. Skills & Experience: • Accredited degree in Chemical/Environmental or Process Engineering., • Experienced in the UK water and wastewater utility industry., • Good project management skills including organisational and diligence skills., • Good analytical techniques and manipulation of data sets., • Able to assess not only process but carbon footprint and environmental solutions, being innovative in your approach., • Good communication, report writing and interpersonal skills., • Experience in the creation of process mass balances and site optimisation plans., • Experience of working within multi-disciplinary teams on a diverse project portfolio., • Client and stakeholder management experience., • Ability to lead projects., • Practical site experience with regard to sampling and/or jar testing would be beneficial., • Able to apply both industry best practice and the latest technology and innovation to new scheme solutions and ideas., • Computer literate with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and other specialist computer packages (AutoCAD, Workspace, CRM’s, etc)., • Full UK driving licence as extensive travel throughout the UK will be required., • Full UK permit for work or residency., • Further education or second degree in a process engineering related discipline would be beneficial., • Membership of a relevant chartered institute would be beneficial.
