Early Years Educator Level 3 & SENCO – Term Time Only Location: Sabden area Salary: £13 per hour + £50 per month SENCO allowance Hours: 4 days per week | Term time only We are looking for a dedicated and nurturing Early Years Educator Level 3 to join our small, welcoming setting, taking on a SENCO responsibility as part of the role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about child-led learning and wants to be part of a friendly, supportive team in a beautiful village environment. Please note: applicants must be able to drive, as public transport links are limited. The Role • Term-time position, 4 days per week, • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (Friday finish 4:30pm), • Flexibility to cover earlier shifts if required, • Supporting children aged 3 years and over, mainly in the older age group, • Leading SEN support within the setting, • Promoting a calm, nurturing, home-from-home environment, • Working closely with a small, tight-knit team to deliver high-quality early years care The Setting • 24 children on roll across 2 rooms, • Team of 8 staff, • Small, friendly, and welcoming culture, • Strong focus on staff wellbeing and support, • Child-led ethos, with strong parent partnerships, • Home-from-home, village-based environment What We’re Looking For • Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential), • SENCO experience or interest in taking on SEN responsibilities, • Passion for child-led learning, • Warm, caring, and professional approach, • Willingness to learn and grow with the team, • Strong teamwork and communication skills Benefits • £13 per hour + £50 per month for SENCO responsibilities, • 15 days holiday pro-rata until entitlement start date, then 23 days, • 50% staff childcare discount, • Pension scheme, • Small onsite car park Training & Development • Access to NoodleNow online training, • Opportunities to attend Local Authority training, • Support for Level 3 and Level 5 apprenticeships within the team, • Encouragement to develop professionally in a hands-on, supportive environment Interview Process • Informal interview encouraging candidates to be themselves, • Observation of interactions with children If you’re a committed, passionate Early Years professional looking for a friendly, supportive, home-from-home setting, we’d love to hear from you
