Overview As a Pensions Administrator, you’ll be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual administering a portfolio of occupational pension schemes, this could be a combination of DB, DC and Hybrid pensions, ensuring that all tasks and calculations are carried out accurately and promptly. You’ll be allocated cases to complete in the full pension lifecycle, working on both automated and manual calculations. You will also draft correspondence and reports, run pensioner payrolls and support the Client Executive team. You’ll approach each case with the same dedication and vigilance, providing the highest level of service to each scheme member. How you'll make an impact • Carrying out pension administration tasks and calculations accurately, in a timely manner and in accordance with internal processes and adhering to company policies and governing regulations, • Managing your workload, taking into consideration time required for all cases to be peer reviewed, • Liaising with scheme members through a variety of channels including email, letter or telephone, • Preparing member correspondence and client reports, • Dealing with non-standard client/member queries, • Collaborating with team members and building relationships with supporting teams, • Providing support to team members and assisting the Team Leader as required being visible with team members and the Team Leader throughout the day, • Willing to study/or studying towards the Pension Management Institute’s CPC qualification, • Analytical skills with a logical approach to problem solving, • Ability to process, collect and input data accurately, • Strong prioritisation skills to meet deadlines and disclosure requirements, • Excellent communication skills to answer queries by telephone, letter and email Ability to work effectively as part of a team On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits. How you'll make an impact • Create documents for new customers about their insurance requirements, • Obtain renewal terms for customers and research suitable alternatives to produce presentations; our account managers discuss these with customers during face to face meetings., • Coordinate all renewal quotes for existing customers along with any mid-term adjustments to be considered. Ensure all customer details are recorded accurately and entered onto system in a timely fashion, • Manage insurer queries in relation to customer policies. Confirm cover with relevant insurers, process policies and chase up outstanding documentation when required, • Secure delivery of policy documentation from insurers and check prior to approval and release by Account Executive, • Deal with account queries and credit control matters highlighting any concerns to account managers in a timely manner, • Larger Commercial/ Corporate Insurance cross class experience is desirable, • Holding or working towards one of the Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications: Dip CII/ FIT is desirable as is being educated to GCSE standard or equivalent., • Worked to targets within a regulated, measurable framework and achieved SLA’s, • Risk aware in handling customer information.
