Senior HR Advisor, Southend-on-Sea c£40,000 - £45,000 per annum Permanent We’re looking for an experienced and confident Senior HR Advisor to take on a standalone role, supporting one key site of a larger, multi-site organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys autonomy and variety in their work, while still being part of a wider HR team. As the on-site HR lead, you’ll be the first point of contact for all people-related matters, working closely with site leadership and reporting into the central HR team. Reporting directly to the Regional HR Business Partner, you will provide expert advice and guidance across a wide range of HR matters, while helping to drive best practice and consistency across all locations. Key Responsibilities: • Provide expert HR advice to managers and employees on employee relations, performance management, absence, disciplinaries, grievances, and restructures., • Support the HR Business Partner with the delivery of HR projects and strategic initiatives., • Build strong working relationships with site managers to understand local needs and provide tailored HR support., • Drive employee engagement and well-being initiatives across the business., • Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently applied and updated in line with legislation., • Support recruitment and onboarding processes for key roles., • Use HR metrics and data to influence decision-making and identify trends., • Coach and develop line managers to strengthen people management capability. Skills & Experience: • Strong HR advisory experience, ideally within an engineering, manufacturing, or technical environment., • Confident handling employee relations and complex HR issues., • Able to build strong relationships across all levels of the business.
