Professional Lift Services are looking to recruit a reliable Trainee Lift Engineer to work with one of our Senior Engineers across our full lift portfolio, but primarily working in the Barking and Dagenham Area. Trainee Lift Engineer Your role will include working closely with a Senior Lift Engineer and with a wider team of engineers across our Service and Repair Department. Daily duties would include driving from job to job, assisting the senior engineer with role, including carrying out lift maintenance visits, attendance to breakdowns, carrying out fault finding and carrying out small repairs. Key attributes the perfect candidate would have is: Reliable Enthusiastic Willing to Learn Attention to Detail Keen to work as part of a wider team Must be 21 years or older. Must have a full driving licence and be willing to drive (as the senior engineer does not). Ideally located within the Basildon, Essex area, but not required. Key duties: Plasterer’s key duties will include: - • Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, applying bonding agents, and patching imperfections. • Mix and apply plaster, render, and other finishing materials to achieve smooth and even surfaces. • Use a variety of tools, such as trowels, brushes, and spray guns, to apply and shape plaster.• Ensure proper adhesion of plaster to surfaces and monitor drying times to achieve desired finishes. • Create decorative textures and patterns in plaster as required. • Repair and restore existing plasterwork, including filling cracks, holes, and damaged areas. • Work with different types of plaster materials, such as lime, cement, and gypsum, based on project specifications. • Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to determine plastering requirements. • Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines, particularly when working with plaster and related materials. • Maintain a clean and organised work area, minimising waste and ensuring proper disposal of materials. • Estimate material quantities and costs for plastering projects. • Provide guidance and support to junior plasterers and apprentices. • Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and materials related to plastering. • Contribute to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. 3.
