The role offers flexible, remote working to assist a charity publisher to promote and sell its flagship magazine on global philanthropy. The role also provides support to our annual event programme which convenes global participants to discuss philanthropy. As marketing support you will assist the subscriptions manager in delivering campaigns to attract new subscribers and support the organisation’s efforts to ensure existing subscribers renew their subscriptions. As events support you will assist the head of marketing, advertising & events with invites, event materials and post-event follow ups for our 19 events per year. Activities will include Marketing support · Supporting subscriptions manager with digital marketing campaigns – emailing and following up with known contacts to promote the magazine · Carrying out physical marketing campaigns – sending letters to known contacts to promote the magazine · Researching new audiences for the publications · Data collection tasks through online research · General administrative tasks using Excel and Wordpress · Design and deployment of email campaigns using Canva and Mailchimp · Keeping our sector conference calendar up to date by reviewing event notifications and updating on Wordpress Event support · Designing, building and scheduling Mailchimp emails for event invitations – both from Alliance and for external partners · Designing pre- and during-event marketing materials, such as social media shareables and PowerPoint slides · Following up with all registrants post-event with marketing messaging · Processing event subscribers and keeping our database up-to-date Anyone interested must be based in the UK, have access to a computer and a stable internet connection, be contactable by telephone and have access to a printer.
