We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our specialist home in Stockton Heath, Warrington , to provide high-quality care and life-enriching opportunities to the people we support. Job Role Bridgewell is a warm, lively, and welcoming home in Stockton Heath, supporting eight adults who live meaningful, active, and busy lives. There's always something going on from football matches and music events to cinema trips, shopping days, cooking sessions, theatre outings, and even big days out like water parks. Every day is different, and every moment is an opportunity to help someone grow in confidence and independence. We're looking for people who bring warmth, energy, and creativity into their support. People who can get stuck into active support, join in with the fun, and help create meaningful moments throughout the day. Responsibilities Provide person-centred care and support tailored to individual needs Build trusting relationships and support emotional and behavioural needs using Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, medication, and household tasks Promote independence and choice, encouraging the people we support to make their own decisions wherever possible Support with day-to-day activities to ensure the people we support make the most of every opportunity What we're looking for There are no formal qualifications required for this role, but we are looking for an individual that is: Passionate about person-centred care Resilient and tenacious Positive and proactive Enthusiastic with a willingness to learn Strong teamwork and communication skills Experience in care is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided. Full UK Driving Licence is advantageous.
