Dietetic Support Worker – Royal Gwent Hospital (RGH). This permanent post provides nutritional care support across ABUHB. The role involves monitoring patient nutritional intake, supporting dietitians on site, maintaining equipment and resources, and carrying out administrative duties using Microsoft Office and other IT packages. • Monitor and review patients’ nutritional intake in a dynamic acute healthcare environment., • Provide support to the dietitian team, covering organisational duties to ensure equipment and nutritional resources are available., • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, record keeping and scheduling., • Collaborate with the acute dietetic team (37 dietitians and 14 support staff) and assist in patient-facing activities where required., • Help manage flexible working schedules and contribute to the team’s excellent patient care standards., • Understanding of and interest in basic nutrition., • Good oral and written communication skills with people from a wide variety of backgrounds., • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage own time and prioritise activities., • Experience/knowledge of a wide range of IT software, including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Office and Outlook., • English or maths GCSE (or equivalent)., • Nutritional knowledge of special diets, food hygiene and safety, NVQ level 3 or demonstrable level of knowledge & experience., • Clinical audit skills., • Experience working in an NHS setting., • Nutrition qualification., • Welsh language proficiency (desirable)., • Flexible working and a supportive workplace culture., • Extensive training and development opportunities, including paid mandatory training and professional career pathways., • Comprehensive benefits package and occupational health support. #J-18808-Ljbffr
