The Private Pharmacy, an ITH Group company, are looking for a positive and hardworking person to join our dispensing team. We are a busy online pharmacy dispensing controlled medications daily.\n\nWe are looking for a positive and approachable person who can utilise their NVQ2 or equivalent Healthcare Assistant and Dispenser qualification to enrich people's lives. An adaptable and flexible mentality will be key, as well as a desire to embed newly acquired knowledge and skills..\n\nto provide a courteous, confidential and professional service to all pharmacy customers.\nTo complete any training required by the company to ensure a high degree of customer service.\nTo ensure all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and in a timely manner.\nTo carry out dispensary administrative tasks, where applicable.\nTo adhere to Pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures and policies, Health and Safety regulations and legal and ethical requirements affecting pharmacy.\nTo work as part of a team, to develop the profitability of the pharmacy.Specific Duties:\n\nDispensary\n\nEnsure the prescription is labelled, assembled and forwarded for checking, accurately and without undue delay, in accordance with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures.\nIdentify and resolve any anomalies or problems with prescriptions.\nIdentify correctly the customer / patient to receive the medication dispensed and counsel them on the use of their prescribed items, where appropriate.\nEnsure all relevant documentation is completed, including register entries and accurate endorsement of the prescription.\nCo-ordinate the ordering, collection and delivery of repeat prescriptions, ensuring full records are maintained and patient consent has been given.\nNHS Smartcard - If you are an existing NHS Smartcard holder, you will be required to use it. If not, one will be provided to you.Where authorised, complete all end of day / month paperwork in a timely manner. This may include preparing prescriptions for submission to the PPD.\nRespond appropriately to customer needs, politely and efficiently, by asking appropriate questions, following the Standard Operating Procedures for Sale of Medicines and Supporting Self-care, recording advice on customers' patient medication records (PMR) when applicable and taking appropriate action if a product is not available.\nRefer customers on to other healthcare professionals, including the pharmacist, following the Standard Operating Procedure for Sign-Posting and recording details on their PMR, where appropriate.\nFollow COSHH regulations at all times and be able to recognise and handle hazardous goods.\nHandle returned medicines, waste and rubbish appropriately, dealing with spillage and debris efficiently and appropriately.\nCarry out good housekeeping procedures regularly and effectively maintaining the appearance of the pharmacy and other areas.·\n\n· BENEFITS OF WORKING FOR TPP\n\n· In return, we pay £30073 per year as a base salary.\n\n· Other benefits include the below:\n\n· · A medical cash plan scheme\n\n· · Pension\n\n· · 22 days holiday a year plus bank holidays\n\n· · Regular company social events.\n\n· · Access to our in-house Health Clinic.\n\n· · Access to our in house Pharmacy\n\n· So, if you want a career with a great company and are 'inspired to be better', apply now.\n\n· Because of the volume of applicants we receive, we cannot reply to all applications, if you have not heard from us within 28 days, please assume you have been unsuccessful in your application to ITH Pharma
