This role is essential for supporting CST's mission to deliver innovative, wise, and straightforward training solutions, contributing to our outstanding reputation for reliability and quality. Reporting To Sales Manager Role Purpose The B2B Business Development Team Lead is responsible for driving revenue growth across CST Training’s business-to-business portfolio. This role combines hands-on new business development with leadership of a small team of Business Development Executives. The postholder will set direction, coach performance, and ensure consistent execution against sales targets while building strong, long-term relationships with employer clients. Key Responsibilities Sales & Revenue Growth • Own and deliver B2B sales targets in line with company growth objectives., • Identify, target, and win new employer clients across relevant sectors., • Develop and execute account strategies to grow existing B2B relationships., • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to close and handover., • Lead, motivate, and coach a team of Business Development Executives., • Set clear individual targets and KPIs aligned to overall business goals., • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and pipeline reviews., • Support onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing team members., • Contribute to the wider B2B sales strategy for CST Training., • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs., • Work with senior stakeholders to shape sector-specific propositions. Essential • Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within training, education, or a service-based environment., • Demonstrable success in meeting or exceeding sales targets., • Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring a sales or business development team., • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills., • Confident using CRM systems and sales reporting tools., • Understanding of employer engagement within regulated or compliance-led sectors., • Results-driven with a strong commercial mindset., • Motivational leader who leads by example., • Resilient, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment., • Commission Structure, • Bonus, • Car Parking, • Enhanced Holiday
