Were hiring Field Service Engineers and Mobile Mechanics to service and maintain municipal, plant, industrial & specialist vehicles such as sweepers, Tankers, Grabs, RCVs, Tippers and forklifts. About this Role Every day, communities and businesses rely on essential equipment to keep things running smoothly. As a Field Service Engineer / Mobile Mechanic , youll be out in the field, making sure our environmental, municipal, civil, and utilities assetsstay in top condition. From urgent breakdowns to scheduled maintenance, youll play a vital role in keeping our clients operational. • Diagnose, repair, and maintain DGEMC-owned assets, including specialist utilities equipment(Road Sweepers, Tankers, Grabs, RCVs, Tippers & Specialist Vehicles/Equipment), • Respond swiftly to service calls, ensuring downtime is minimised, • Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, • Maintain accurate electronic work records via PDA, • Carry out PMI inspections and complete reports Were looking for a hands-on technician with a problem-solving mindset. If you love working independently and thrive in a dynamic, on-the-go role, this is for you! • Level 2 mechanical or engineering qualification (or equivalent), • Full, valid UK driving licence, • Strong experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, • Confident diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and electrical faults, • Competent in the use of diagnostic equipment, • Class 2 HGV licence desirable but not essential At Dawsongroup, were leaders in asset rental, helping businesses stay agile and operational.
