Building Surveyor / Project Manager (Higher Education) Oxford - LOCAL OXFORD RING CIRCLE PROJECTS ONLY £40,000 - £65000 I am working with an independent building consultancy with a strong reputation across the education and public sectors. With around 40 staff split between their London and Oxford offices, they combine the energy and pace of a London practice with the close knit, supportive culture of a smaller firm. The Oxford team, currently 15 strong, is busy and expanding steadily, delivering high-quality work for some of the most prestigious institutions in the UK. A significant proportion of their work - approximately 45% - is for University of Oxford, alongside projects for University of Cambridge and other leading clients. Schemes are predominantly within Oxford's ring road, offering an excellent work-life balance with minimal travel. Project values typically range from £1m-£15m (and sometimes beyond), with a strong focus on higher education and complex refurbishment schemes. The practice operates across the full spectrum of building surveying services, with around 70-75% of instructions being project led. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is either recently chartered, actively working towards chartership or passionate about APC support with clear ambitions to progress.
