Demand Planner About the Role We are looking for a highly analytical and proactive Demand Planner to take ownership of forecasting across our categories. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you will manage high-volume, short shelf-life products with frequent demand fluctuations. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring accurate forecasting to support customer service, optimise production, and minimise waste. You’ll collaborate closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, and Category teams, helping to shape a robust and responsive demand plan across short, medium, and long-term horizons. Key Responsibilities Forecasting & Demand Management • Own end-to-end demand forecasting at SKU, customer, and category level, • Manage short-term volatility including promotions, customer orders, and EPOS trends, • Develop and maintain statistical and consensus forecasts (daily, weekly, monthly), • Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, identifying root causes and improvements Cross-Functional Collaboration (15%) • Partner with Supply, Production Planning, and site teams to align plans with operational capacity, • Work closely with Commercial and Category teams on promotions, NPD, and product changes, • Contribute to S&OP / IBP processes with data-driven insights Data & Systems (15%) • Maintain data accuracy across forecasting tools and systems, • Analyse EPOS, shipments, and demand patterns, • Identify and resolve data issues and anomalies, • Support continuous improvement of forecasting tools and processes Performance & Reporting (10%) • Track and report forecast accuracy and bias, • Provide actionable insights to improve performance, • Highlight risks and opportunities related to inventory, service, and capacity About You We’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working with data to influence decisions. Experience & Skills: • 2–5 years’ experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain, • Experience in FMCG, chilled, or short shelf-life products is highly desirable, • Strong Excel and data analysis skills (experience with forecasting tools preferred), • Proven ability to manage high-volatility product categories Key Attributes: • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to challenge data, • Highly organised and comfortable with fast-changing priorities, • Confident communicator with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, • Curious, proactive, and open to driving continuous improvement Working Arrangements • Hybrid role around 3 days per week in the office, • Travel across UK sites required, • Flexibility to support other categories as business needs evolve Why Join Us?
