Structured Finance & CLO Associate (NQ–3PQE) – Elite US Firm – Central London Our client, a prestigious US law firm with a top-tier reputation in structured credit, is seeking a junior associate (NQ–3PQE) to join its highly regarded Structured Finance & CLO team in London. This is a rare opportunity to work alongside one of the most respected CLO practitioners in the market, advising on cutting-edge transactions for leading global financial institutions. The firm’s structured credit practice is widely recognised as a market leader, particularly in the CLO space. It is known for advising arrangers, managers, and investors on some of the most complex and innovative transactions in the market, with deep expertise in both European and US regulatory frameworks. The Role This opportunity has arisen due to continued growth and sustained deal flow. The successful candidate will join a lean, high-performing team with direct access to senior lawyers and clients. You will be involved in: • Advising on European and US CLO transactions, • Drafting and negotiating transaction documents, • Advising on regulatory issues, including EU and US risk retention, • Working with arrangers, managers, and investors on structuring and execution, • Supporting first-time managers and bespoke transactions, • Collaborating with colleagues across the firm’s global offices The team is known for its technical excellence, commercial approach, and ability to deliver innovative solutions in a fast-moving market. What They’re Looking For • NQ–3PQE, ideally UK qualified (though strong international candidates will be considered), • Experience in structured finance, securitisation, or CLOs is preferred, but candidates with strong finance training and a genuine interest in the space will also be considered, • Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail, • Strong academic background, • Commercial mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, • A collaborative and proactive approach Why Apply?
