Location: London Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £50000-80000 negotiable DOE Status: Live-out A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented, experienced, and creative Daily Private Chef to join a welcoming private household. This role is ideally suited to a chef with a strong background in Asian cuisine, particularly Japanese and Korean, who enjoys preparing fresh, nutritious, and beautifully presented meals within a family environment. The household comprises two parents and three children aged 8, 12, and 15. The role will involve preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, with lunch typically for the parents and dinner for four during the week, as the eldest child is only home on weekends. In addition, the Chef will be responsible for weekend food preparation, ensuring the family is well catered for outside of working days. The successful candidate will be organised, proactive, and confident in managing their own kitchen operations while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency. A calm, positive attitude and the ability to adapt to the familys preferences are essential. The family also has two cats, so the candidate must be comfortable working in a pet-friendly home. The working schedule is Monday to Friday, 10:00 am 7:00 pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for a chef who enjoys working closely with a family and delivering consistently high-quality, tailored meals in a private household setting. Previous private household experience would be highly advantageous. DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Preparing daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner tailored to the familys preferences Specialising in Asian cuisine, particularly Japanese and Korean dishes Planning varied, balanced, and nutritious menus Preparing lunch for the parents and dinner for the family (adjusting for weekends) Completing weekend meal preparation in advance Sourcing high-quality, fresh ingredients and managing kitchen inventory Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen at all times Adapting meals to suit the familys tastes and dietary preferences Managing kitchen operations independently with efficiency and professionalism ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Proven experience as a Private Chef or in a high-level professional kitchen Strong expertise in Asian cuisine, particularly Japanese and Korean Experience within a private household is highly advantageous Ability to plan and execute varied, healthy, and family-style meals Organised, proactive, and able to work independently Calm, positive, and professional demeanour Comfortable working in a home with pets Excellent communication skills and fluent English Right to live and work in the UK Excellent checkable references TPBN1_UKCT
