Trailfinders Sports Club is a premier function venue, boasting outstanding hospitality and sporting facilities. With 20 acres and multiple venues for events running simultaneously, operations vary from daily catering plus sports events with match day hospitality and retail outlets through to private events such as conferences, team building days, weddings, gala dinners and more. We are looking for a Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and ensure we continue to deliver a great catering experience whilst overseeing and nurturing our team. Key Responsibilities as Head Chef: • Lead and inspire the kitchen team with a hands-on approach, • Maintain food cost control and manage supplier relationships, • Create and update menus that can be rolled out for events and daily catering, • Enforce food hygiene and health & safety standards, • Ensure consistent quality and timely service, • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff, • Take commercial responsibility for the food, generating gross profit on all dishes., • Compliance with health and food safety regulations., • Strong command of English and confident communication skills., • Identifying training needs for the kitchen team and supporting them in reaching their full potential., • A desire to grow and develop – we’re here to help you succeed! Compensation Job Type: Full-time Salary: £47,00 - £50,000 Expected hours: 40 hours/week, scheduled at 8-hour shifts over 5 days across 7 days including evening and weekends. Any overtime is paid.
