This role is responsible for the delivery of smoking cessation behaviour support to service users on a one to one or group basis in line with evidence-based guidelines. The post–holder will be expected to deliver interventions within locally defined areas covering a range of settings and to support Tobacco Dependency Lead in training delivery to staff.Main duties of the job- To deliver high quality, evidence-based tobacco dependence treatment and smoking cessation support to individuals across our mental health inpatient settings.- The role involves providing behavioural support, pharmacotherapy advice, harm reduction strategies, and onward referral to community services. - Advisors will work flexibly across sites to promote temporary abstinence and long-term cessation.
