To be successful in this position we seek experienced drivers who have the ability to carry out the following key responsibilities; Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks ensuring any defects found are reported to the Fleet Manager Keep an accurate record of deliveries and collections using delivery documentation Ensure that any equipment on the vehicle is secured and protected where necessary Collect any money due on the delivery / collection as instructed Maintain product knowledge in order to demonstrate to customers where necessary Demonstrate a high level of customer services and the ability to work in a fast paced, team environment. Covering other HGV driver at other depots at times in absence or holidays. This is a manual position, so ideally we seek applicants who are physically fit as you will be responsible for managing your own jobs as well as loading goods on and off your vehicle. An understanding of safe loading and towing processes would be highly beneficial.
