Responsibilities to include: File Management Under supervision manage client matters according to NPS and ensure a high level of client care. Provide legal and administrative support to fee earner(s) on their client matters. Finance Ensure financial aspects of matters including time recording, billing and debtor management are managed to enable achievement of personal fee budget and support fee earners in the achievement of theirs. About You: Knowledge and understanding of basic legal concepts learnt from legal education such as undergraduate law, LLM, LPC, GDL or ILEX study; or equivalent work experience; or successful completion of the Paralegal Apprenticeship scheme. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and relevant practice and business IT systems, particularly Mattersphere and Aderant. Excellent typing skills (minimum wpm 35) Relevant work experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to think logically and analytically. Ability to work under pressure and prioritise work from various stakeholders. Commercially aware and highly motivated. Proactive; Good attention to detail; Excellent time management and organisational skills We are offering a salary of £21,000 - £24,000 Dependant Upon Experience

The role will involve: • Drafting larger bills and budgets. • Drafting Replies to Points of Dispute. • Negotiation of Costs to settlement. • Drafting Budgets and associated documentation • Working to deadlines • Liaising and Reporting to Solicitor Clients • Diary Management • Keeping in constant touch with the clients to ensure communication and continuous work flow. • Use of in-house case management system • Keeping up to date with regulatory changes • Research using internal and external resources The ideal candidate: • Excellent organisation skills • Ability to draft bills on Multi Track matters, predominantly on person injury matters. • IT Skills (Excel/Word) • In the process of completing or have completed the LPC
We are a firm of solicitors providing a wide range of legal services, but specialising in civil litigation. we are recruiting a General litigation paralegal to assist our solicitors with their litigated case loads in a variety of areas such as financial mis selling, RTA and Business Energy. Please note that this is an in person role and the successful candidate will work full-time in our offices located in Bolton. The role will involve drafting and assisting with various court documents and procedures and so attention to detail and excellent drafting skills are essential. Candidates must have a law degree or equivalent and would ideally have completed the LPC and or have experience of working on litigated civil litigation claims.
