The client are a long standing automotive parts supplier who are looking for experienced drivers to join their team. We have roles available for FULL TIME 50 hours per week OR Fridays / Sundays only! The driver must have a minimum of 6 months experience in a class 1 role. This role is 3-5 drops per shift, and includes opening up small sites and controlling the alarms before dropping the goods in. So it is not just a driving role. Load and unload goods efficiently, ensuring securement according to safety standards. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any faults or issues promptly. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in compliance with legal requirements. Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery times while adhering to legal driving hours. Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues encountered on the road. Ensure compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies at all times. Assist with general vehicle maintenance tasks as required to ensure optimal operation.
