Ensure that the plant accounting is properly completed, in line with UK accounting rules and Faurecia procedures. To guarantee the price management of the plant for selling prices towards customers> To maintain and improve controls in all areas of Accounting. To build a strong liaison/communication with all Departments within the Company and to challenge the status quo. In this role you will play a major proactive role and be a key member of the finance team, as well as a vital support to the Financial Controller regarding accounting and controlling. • Detailed self billing and invoicing analysis ensuring that all sales are charged and paid, • System, • Engineering change – VAVE management, • Sales performance management, • Manual invoicing (prototypes, test seats) / suppliers recharges, • Overdues, • Prepare in collaboration with the Financial Controller the forecasted budgets, cash and P&L, • Detailed variance analysis of financial data versus budgets/forecasts/estimated, • Ensure accurate and timely submission of group reporting requirements to include Magnitude and Excel, • Customer self-billing reconciliation (2.4 million lines per month to manage), • Invoicing reconciliation for the second customer, • Perform month end closing accruals (stock in transit, shipped not billed) to book sales and protect the company, • Support Plant Controller for any tasks and duties, • Assist in the implementation of Faurecia Core Procedures, • Assist in internal and external audits, • During the pursuit of all duties the Code of Ethics will be adhered to at all times, • Contribute to Internal Control Basics breakthrough at site level, • Guarantee the accuracy of the accounting and financial information for the plant according to the Group, Business Group and Division policies, including compliance with relevant accounting and tax rules, Code of ethics & Being Faurecia philosophy, • Business School or Engineering background with a Finance degree or Masters degree in Finance, • 3 to 10 years of professional experience, according to the size and complexity of the site, including a first controlling experience at plant level, • Full understanding of Inventory accounting, Standard cost management etc., • Ability to question and challenge all areas of the business, • Strong Excel & ERP (SAP) skills, • Key understanding of Group reporting deadlines, • Good organisational skills, • Strong teamwork sense, • Good communication skills, • Fluent in English, • At Forvia, you will find an engaging and dynamic environment where you can contribute to the development of sustainable mobility leading technologies., • We are the seventh-largest global automotive supplier, employing more than 157,000 people in more than 40 countries which makes a lot of opportunity for career development., • We welcome energetic and agile people who can thrive in a fast-changing environment.
