A well-regarded independent consultancy with strong roots in the North West is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their Manchester office. With a longstanding track record in high-end residential, commercial and heritage-led schemes, the consultancy is looking for a capable and client-facing Senior Project Manager to lead a variety of complex and design-focused projects across the region.This opportunity is ideal for a Senior Project Manager who enjoys working in a hands-on, detail-driven environment and wants to be part of a close-knit team that values professionalism, flexibility and quality delivery. The successful Senior Project Manager will have the chance to work with a loyal client base including private developers, estates, and institutional landlords. The Senior Project Manager's role The Senior Project Manager will take ownership of projects ranging from £2m to £30m, with current schemes including prime residential conversions, commercial fit outs, and sensitive heritage refurbishments. You'll manage the full project lifecycle-from feasibility and planning through to delivery and final account-while coordinating design teams, contract administration and stakeholder engagement.You will also contribute to client relationship management and new business, helping to identify opportunities for continued growth. The role offers a balance of autonomy and support, making it an excellent fit for someone ready to take on more leadership within a consultancy that champions quality over volume. The Senior Project Manager Degree qualified in Project Management, Building Surveying or a similar disciplineChartered status (MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or equivalent) desirableConsultancy background with experience in high-end residential, commercial or heritage projectsSkilled in JCT contract administration and managing planning and procurement processesExcellent attention to detail and strong written communication skillsConfident liaising with architects, engineers and private clientsKnowledge of conservation or listed building work an advantage In Return? £60,000 - £75,000 per annumBonus scheme and discretionary incentivesProfessional fees paid and full CPD supportHybrid working optionsOpportunity to work on prestigious, design-led projectsFlat structure with direct access to Directors and Partners
