Finance & Operations Manager Oldham (On-site, 4 days per week) Salary: £50,000 + Company Bonus + 28 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays Clear Route to Finance & Operations Director The Role: Finance & Operations Manager This is a broad, varied role spanning finance, people, and operational management. You'll become a central part of the organisation's daily running, working closely with Pat and the wider team. Key Responsibilities: Finance • Manage day-to-day finance operations, • Ownership of cashflow management, forecasting, and financial planning, • Prepare management accounts (finalised by external accountants), • Oversee purchasing, invoicing, and payments (with support from a Finance Assistant), • Support HR processes, staff issues, and general people management, • Oversee customer service, basic marketing oversight, and general office management, • Ensure smooth day-to-day operational running of the business We're looking for someone reliable, proactive, and ready to take ownership of both finance and wider operational responsibilities. Essential Experience: • Strong grounding in finance, including cashflow and forecasting, • Experience managing staff or leading a small team, • Operational or general management exposure, • Comfortable working across multiple business areas, • Responsible, trustworthy, and commercially aware, • Comfortable in a small-business environment, • Happy to get involved in a wide variety of tasks, • 4-day working week (Mon-Thurs) - Fridays off, • Salary is not pro-rata'd, • Must be available via email on Fridays for urgent matters, • On-site role (due to nature of the business), • Parking available, • Public transport links are limited, • 28 days holiday + bank holidays, • Annual bonus based on company performance, • Historically varies (e.g., £1,000 paid to all staff last year), • Supportive, respectful, long-established working environment, • Clear future progression to Finance & Operations Director
