Own the operating model, annual plan and forecasts, and track how we perform against them. Own monthly board and investor reporting, from the numbers through to the narrative. Build the analytics and dashboards leadership uses to run the business. Support fundraising and investor relations: model, materials, data room and investor Q&A. 2–4 years in investment banking, consulting, private equity or strategic finance. You can build an operating model from a blank sheet, not just update one. You turn messy data into a clear point of view, and can explain it plainly to a founder or a board member. You take a problem and own it. You'd rather deliver the answer than hand off the deck. You find building the playbook appealing.
