Essential Requirements:, • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or commitment to obtain it., • At least 2 years' supervisory experience in EBD or similar children's residential settings, with direct hands-on support for young people facing emotional and behavioural difficulties., • Proven success as a Registered Manager or Deputy in EBD environments, including "Good" or better Ofsted ratings and demonstrated expertise in managing complex behaviours., • Thorough knowledge of legislation, safeguarding, child protection, and therapeutic models like trauma-informed care or positive behaviour support., • Strong leadership to inspire teams, handle high-pressure situations with empathy, and uphold excellence in care., • Deep passion, excellent communication, organisational, and crisis-resolution skills., • Full UK driving license; on-call flexibility; physical/mental fitness for the role; enhanced DBS required.
