Based in a clean, modern engineering facility, this role focuses on mechanical quality inspection of tight-tolerance parts produced using advanced CNC machining processes. You will play a key role in ensuring components meet exact customer, drawing and quality standard requirements. Key Responsibilities Mechanical inspection of precision machined parts and components Manual and visual inspection using precision measuring equipment Operate CMMs and interpret inspection results Verify CMM reports through manual inspection where required Complete First Article Inspection (FAI) reports Compile Certificates of Conformity and quality documentation Maintain full component traceability and document control Liaise with machining teams and management on quality issues Support problem-solving and continuous improvement activities Skills & Experience Strong attention to detail and methodical working approach Experience inspecting tight-tolerance machined components Confident working from engineering drawings Organised, reliable and able to prioritise workload Analytical mindset with good problem-solving ability Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office) Advantageous Experience CMM inspection experience (PC-DMIS preferred) Use of Visual FAIR / Q-Pulse Experience working to AS9100 or ISO 9001 standards Strong understanding of GD&T Background in subcontract precision machining environments Minimum 2 years quality inspection experience Hours of Work 40 hours per week Monday to Friday: 08:00 16:00 Regular overtime available (typically 10+ hours per week) Overtime paid at x1.5 Why Apply?
