Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Costs Draftsperson or Costs Lawyer to join our team. Role Description This is a full-time permanent hybrid role, based in our Liverpool offices with the flexibility to work remotely for 2 days per week. The successful candidate will handle a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to; -Drafting Bills of Costs -Drafting Points of Dispute -Drafting Points of Reply -Drafting Part 8 Proceedings/Interim Applications -Assessing and negotiating cost claims -Preparing Precedent H Budgets -Attending CCMCs -Advising clients The role involves working collaboratively with clients and team members to ensure accurate cost recovery and reporting. Requirements/Qualifications Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Costs Draftsperson or Costs Lawyer Strong working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and costs case law Experience in dealing with costs relating to personal injury, clinical negligence, industrial disease, housing disrepair and commercial litigation Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload Strong communication and negotiation skills What we offer A competitive base salary of £30,000-£35,000 dependent on experience/qualifications Lucrative negotiation bonus Annual company performance bonus Paid overtime Company Pension Scheme A supportive working environment.
