A strong opportunity for a Qualified Audit & Accounts Senior to take ownership of a varied portfolio, leading audit assignments while gaining exposure to accounts and corporation tax work. Client Details Our client is a well-established and growing regional accountancy and advisory firm with a strong presence across the Midlands. They work with a broad client base including large corporates, group structures and SMEs, providing a full range of audit, accounting and tax services. The firm is focused on developing its people, offering structured progression and exposure to more complex assignments as you advance. Description • Lead audits for large companies, groups and SMEs, taking responsibility for planning through to completion, • Manage audit teams on-site and act as the primary point of contact for clients during engagements, • Attend client premises for audit fieldwork and key meetings, • Prepare statutory accounts and corporation tax computations for review by managers and partners, • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues and third parties, • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal processes while meeting deadlines, • Supervise, coach and develop trainees and junior team members, • Provide mentoring support to graduates and junior staff to aid their professional development, • Contribute to networking and business development activities to support firm growth, • Promote inclusive working practices and collaborative team development Profile • ACA or ACCA qualified, • Strong experience within practice, particularly in audit with exposure to leading assignments, • Experience managing audits from planning through to completion, • Confident in a client-facing role with strong interpersonal and communication skills, • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines, • Strong technical knowledge of audit, accounts preparation and compliance, • Experience supervising and developing junior staff, • High attention to detail and a proactive, professional approach, • Solid IT skills and familiarity with relevant accounting software Job Offer • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, • Career progression, • Electric Car scheme, • Cycle to Work Scheme, • Life Assurance, • Group Personal Pension Plan, • Flexible Holiday Purchase Scheme, • Enhanced Family Pay - maternity, paternity, parental, and compassionate leave, • Employee Assistance Programme - 24/7 confidential helpline as well as online support
