Location: North London Salary: £48,000 gross per year Start Date: August 25, 2025 Job Type: Full-time (48 hours/week over 4 shifts, including alternate weekends and split shifts) About the Role We are looking for an experienced and confident SEN Nanny to join a caring team supporting a young person with complex needs, including a learning disability and epilepsy. This live-out, full-time role involves 48 hours per week over 4 days and suits someone who enjoys working in a structured, team-based, and family-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, emotionally intelligent, and able to provide consistent, person-centred care while contributing to the smooth running of the household. Key Responsibilities Provide consistent, person centred care Support daily routines, independence, and behavioural needs Assist with personal care and medical requirements Maintain a safe and engaging environment Work collaboratively with family members, professionals, and the care team Provide cover for sickness and holiday absences within the team Support household tasks such as shopping, laundry, tidying, and meal preparation Occasional travel with the family Essential Requirements Minimum 2 years experience supporting older children or young adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour Emotionally intelligent, confident, and calm under pressure Willingness to work alternate weekends, split shifts, and cover for absences Strong team player with excellent communication skills Preferred Experience Experience with epilepsy or complex care is an advantage Background supporting independent living Comfortable with pets Working Hours 48 hours per week, typically four shifts between 7.30am to 7.30pm Includes alternate weekends and split shifts Flexibility to cover sickness and holidays What We Offer £48,000 gross annual salary Long-term opportunity with room for professional growth Ongoing training and support Meaningful work within a supportive family environment A structured rota supporting work-life balance For detailed information get in touch!
