If you want to own something, build something, and have your work genuinely matter, this is the right environment. \n \n The Role \n We're looking for a Performance Marketing Lead to take ownership of paid media strategy and execution across our client portfolio. This is a senior, hands-on role, you will be in the accounts, in the data, and close to the work every day. You'll also be shaping the strategic direction of how Vouch approaches performance marketing as an agency, leading the performance team, and acting as the senior paid media voice across all client relationships. \n This is not a purely strategic position. We need someone who leads from the front, setting the direction and then doing the work. You'll be running accounts, building testing roadmaps, briefing creative, presenting to clients, and contributing to new business. \n This role may suit someone stepping up from a Senior Performance Manager position, ready to take on their first lead role and prove themselves at that level. Your natural career progression from here would be into a Head of Performance Marketing. We're looking for someone who is hungry to get there. \n \n What You'll Be Doing \n Hands-On Performance & Account Management \n\n • Actively run and optimise paid media campaigns across Google Ads (Search, PMAX, Display, YouTube, DemandGen), Meta and TikTok for a portfolio of clients\n, • Own campaign structure, audience strategy, budget allocation and day-to-day optimisation, ensuring performance against client KPIs at all times\n, • Be accountable for results; ROAS, CAC, CPL, CPA and take proactive action when performance needs course-correcting\n, • Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously, maintaining high standards of execution across all of them\n, • Maintain a broad awareness of where all performance accounts sit in their client lifecycle. Understanding the wider portfolio well enough to spot risks, opportunities and patterns across the agency, not just within your own accounts.\n\n \n Performance Strategy & Testing \n\n • Lead paid media strategy across all client accounts, developing clear channel strategies, audience frameworks and campaign architectures built to perform and scale\n, • Own and evolve client testing roadmaps, building structured creative and audience testing programmes that generate actionable learnings and drive continuous performance improvement\n, • Contribute to and lead the rollout of Vouch's internal paid media strategic framework across the agency and client base, helping to embed consistent strategic thinking into how the team approaches every account\n, • Stay ahead of platform changes, algorithm updates and emerging formats, bringing new thinking and channel opportunities to the agency proactively and with a clear point of view\n\n \n Creative Performance & Briefing \n\n • Act as the bridge between performance and creative, briefing the creative team with precision, ensuring every piece of ad creative is built with a clear performance objective in mind\n, • Use live campaign data to inform creative decisions, feeding back on what's working, what isn't, and what to test next, ensuring creative iteration is driven by insight rather than instinct\n, • Bring a strong understanding of what makes paid creative perform across formats; from UGC and short-form video to static, carousel and motion, and use that knowledge to raise the quality of creative output across the agency\n, • Champion the relationship between strong creative and strong performance, and help the wider team understand that the two are inseparable\n\n \n Client Leadership \n\n • Be the senior performance marketing lead across all client relationships, owning strategy presentations, leading performance reviews, and building genuine trust at a senior level\n, • Communicate performance clearly and confidently, translating complex data into narratives that clients understand and act on\n, • Work closely with Account Managers to ensure client goals are clearly understood internally and consistently delivered against\n, • Identify and pursue opportunities to grow accounts, new channels, expanded scope, strategic pivots, always with the client's commercial goals front of mind\n\n \n Team Leadership & Line Management \n\n • Line manage the paid media team; running regular 1-2-1s, supporting performance reviews\n, • Set the performance standard across the agency, building scalable processes, reporting frameworks and best practice that the wider team can follow and learn from\n, • Create a culture of accountability, curiosity and continuous improvement within the performance team\n\n \n New Business \n\n • Play an active role in new business pitches, bringing performance thinking to proposals, presenting channel strategy to prospective clients, and helping Vouch win the right kind of work\n, • Contribute to how Vouch positions its performance offering in the market, helping to articulate what makes our approach distinctive and commercially compelling\n\n \n What We're Looking For \n Essential \n\n • 6+ years of hands-on paid media experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity, agency-side experience strongly preferred\n, • Deep, current expertise across Google Ads (Search, PMAX, Display, YouTube), Meta Ads and TikTok Ads, you need to know all three channels well, not just one\n, • Proven ability to run and optimise campaigns across multiple client accounts simultaneously, managing meaningful media budgets with demonstrable results\n, • A genuine understanding of the relationship between paid media performance and creative, you know that great creative and great media planning are inseparable, and you have the language and instinct to bridge both worlds\n, • Strong strategic thinking, you can build a paid media strategy from scratch, defend every decision in it, and adapt it when the data tells you to\n, • Excellent communication and presentation skills, you're confident leading senior client conversations and presenting complex ideas clearly\n, • Commercially minded, you understand how your work connects to business outcomes, not just campaign metrics\n, • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn performance data into clear, actionable recommendations\n, • A genuine leader (not a dictator), someone who raises the people around them, not just their own output\n\n \n Desirable \n\n • Experience with additional biddable channels, programmatic, native, Pinterest, Snapchat\n, • Experience contributing to or presenting in new business pitches\n, • Familiarity with creative performance and UGC content strategy\n, • Experience working with DTC eCommerce, hospitality or leisure brands\n, • Exposure to building internal processes or strategic frameworks within an agency\n\n \n What You'll Gain \n\n • A genuine lead role with real ownership, not a title without the substance\n, • Clear pathway to Head of Performance Marketing as the agency grows\n, • Exposure to a broad range of brands across hospitality, leisure, food and drink, and consumer\n, • The opportunity to help shape Vouch's performance offering from the inside;
