Job Profile As the successful CNC Turner Programmer / Setter / Operator, you will play a key role within a small, skilled machining team. You’ll be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes to produce precision components from a range of metals to tight tolerances. This is an excellent opportunity for a CNC machinist looking to develop further — training will be provided on specific machine controls and tooling as long as you have prior CNC turning, programming, setting, and operating experience. Duties Program, set, and operate Fanuc-controlled Doosan CNC lathes Machine precision components to tight tolerances, ensuring consistent quality Work from engineering drawings to produce small batch and prototype parts Inspect finished components using appropriate measuring equipment Maintain tooling, fixtures, and machine setups for repeatability and efficiency Optimise machining parameters to reduce cycle times and improve tool life Contribute to process improvements and problem-solving within the machining department Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and to schedule Maintain a clean and organised workstation in line with 5S standards Skills
