Company Description We are currently looking for a Sales Manager – Groups and Events to join our London Cluster sales team. Selling our sought-after hotels, you will gain broad multi-site experience across our four locations to deliver budget expectations and grow market share. Reporting to the Director of Sales – London Cluster, we’ll look to you to drive some amazing Group, Meeting & Event business into Hoxton’s London portfolio of hotels. This includes The Hoxton Shoreditch, The Hoxton Holborn, The Hoxton Southwark and The Hoxton Shepherd’s Bush. If you’re well connected in the MICE industry, experienced in a hotel sales environment and keen to hit those targets, this is just the ticket. Once part of our Silverstone team, we’d love for you to return for the rest of the event fixture dates throughout 2024! Event Details: MUST be able to commit to Thursday 4th - Sunday 7th July 2024. Shift times are 05:00/06:00 - 18:00 Available for British Grand Prix, Moto GP, Silverstone Festival, Conference & Events & more! Ideally were available for the majority of the fixtures for 2024 You must be able to provide your own transport to and from Silverstone, Towcester (Northamptonshire) as there is no direct public transport to and from this venue. The Person for the role: Ideally you will have had experience in a Professional Kitchen before, however if you are keen to learn and get stuck in then experience is not essential. This role is part of a large, fun team - so we are looking for someone that is happy and ready to work. As a Restaurant Manager you would: •Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service; •Lead and motivate a team of restaurant staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure exceptional service standards; •Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and appearance of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations; •Oversee the dining area and ensure tables are set up correctly, maintaining an inviting ambiance for guests; •Assist in developing and implementing standard procedures to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction; •Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints, resolving issues promptly and ensuring a positive experience for all patrons; •Handling money and be able to reconciliate financials at EOD. Our Restaurant Manager would show: •2 year of previous experience in a managerial role in the hospitality industry, preferably in high end restaurant; •Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team; •Knowledge of food safety regulations; •Passion for food and willingness in learning our Culture and Menu History; •Excellent interpersonal skills: empathy and reason; •Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment; •Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions, while not feeling overwhelmed; •Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
