Job Title:\nSenior Construction Project Manager \n Location: Warton (Full-time\non site with overtime available) \n Salary: £47,683+ depending on\nskills and experience What you’ll\nbe doing: • Leading all project phases\nfollowing the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Plan of\nWork and ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with company\nand departmental quality procedures\n, • Collaborating with other team members & stakeholders\nto ensure success in your and your colleagues’ projects\n, • Interpreting the customer requirements, supporting\npreparation of designs, implementing plans, specification approvals\nand financial business cases, • Procuring,\ncollaborating and driving multi-discipline professional consultant\nteams in respect of the development of facilities including new\nbuildings, major building refurbishments and large scale utility\ninfrastructure upgrades, • Safe management and co-ordination of\nonsite contractor activities including taking responsibility for\nall installations in accordance with the current company, statutory\nhealth & safety legislation, building control and Construction (Design\nand Management)\nRegulations (CDM), • Delivering best value and\ncustomer satisfaction by managing relationships with a\nrange of suppliers Essential: \n • Experience in leading projects within the\nbuilt environment, • Degree or HNC/D qualified in\nConstruction or Building Services is ideal, however other\ndisciplines and experience within the Built Environment may be\nconsidered (eg. Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying,\nConstruction Project Management, Building Services,\nEnergy and Sustainability, Construction Development Management, Real Estate Planning\nand Master Planning\netc).\n, • Relevant qualifications or experience in managing contractor activities\nand ensuring construction Health & Safety (NEBOSH General\nCertificate, IOSH, specific safety topic training)\n, • Knowledge of construction and/or manufacturing plant\n& equipment installations The Investment Projects\nTeam: As a Senior Construction\nProject Manager, you\nwill act as a client-side project manager to ensure successful\ndelivery of the design, planning and construction of a wide range\nof facility upgrade and estates projects across the BAE Systems\nsites. These projects can vary and could include; key\ninfrastructure upgrades, utilities installation or removal,\nbuilding refurbishments, new buildings and installation of plant\n& equipment to provide manufacturing capability. \n This role will provide you with a variety of work across\nall aspects of running a manufacturing environment and large secure\nindustrial sites. This role could involve occasional travel within\nthe UK if deemed necessary in the design or delivery of a project\nand is a great\nopportunity to expand your knowledge &\nexperience.
