Our client, a leading international chemicals business, is seeking a Graduate Chemical Technician to join its Research & Development team. Working alongside experienced scientists and technical specialists, you'll develop practical laboratory skills, contribute to exciting R&D projects and build a strong foundation for a long-term career in industrial chemistry. The Role As a Graduate Chemical Technician, you will support research, product development and technical service activities through laboratory testing, formulation preparation and data analysis. Key responsibilities include: • Preparing chemical blends, formulations and test samples for internal and external evaluation, • Conducting laboratory testing using established procedures and industry standards, • Recording, analysing and reporting experimental results, • Operating, maintaining and troubleshooting specialist laboratory equipment, • Supporting product stability and compatibility studies, • Assisting with technical projects from initiation through to completion, • Managing laboratory inventory, samples and consumables, • Maintaining accurate records in line with quality and ISO requirements, • Working safely and promoting best practice laboratory standards, • Collaborating with scientists, chemists and technical teams across the organisation About You This opportunity would suit a recent Chemistry graduate looking to develop a career within research and development, formulation chemistry or technical services.
