We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator / Accounts Assistant to join a growing team based in Chislehurst. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident payroll professional who has experience managing high-volume payrolls and working with timesheet-driven environments. The Role You will take responsibility for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for over 300 employees, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency at all times. Key Responsibilities • Process end-to-end payroll for 300+ staff across weekly and/or monthly payrolls, • Collate, check and input timesheets accurately, • Ensure overtime, holiday pay, statutory payments and deductions are processed correctly, • Manage starters, leavers and payroll amendments, • Respond to payroll queries from employees in a professional and timely manner, • Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and current payroll legislation, • Reconcile payroll reports and assist with month-end procedures, • Liaise with HR and management teams regarding payroll data, • Proven experience processing payroll for 300+ employees, • Strong experience working with timesheets and variable pay, • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy, • Up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory payments, • Confident using payroll systems and Excel, • Strong organisational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines, • Professional and discreet when handling confidential information
