We are seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic Learning & Development Assistant to support the delivery of our firmwide learning, development and early careers programmes. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to build a career in Learning & Development and HR. You will play a key role in co-ordinating training activities, supporting apprenticeships and trainee programmes, maintaining learning records and helping to ensure our colleagues have access to high-quality development opportunities. Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you will help deliver programmes that support professional competence, career development and organisational growth. Key Responsibilities • Co-ordinate training courses, workshops and development programmes, • Manage training bookings, joining instructions, attendance records and evaluations, • Support the administration of the firm's online learning platform and learning records, • Assist with the delivery of trainee solicitor, apprenticeship and work experience programmes, • Monitor completion of mandatory and compliance-based training, • Produce regular reports on learning activity, attendance and training compliance, • Maintain accurate records of CPD and professional development activities, • Liaise with external training providers, educational institutions and professional bodies, • Support internal training events, leadership programmes and development initiatives, • Assist with careers fairs, school, college and university engagement activities, • Prepare training materials, presentations and communications, • Respond to learning and development enquiries from colleagues across the firm, • Support the continuous improvement of learning and development processes and resources About You We are looking for someone who is: • Organised with excellent attention to detail, • Confident communicating with people at all levels, • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, • Proactive and keen to learn, • Comfortable working with systems, data and reporting, • Committed to providing excellent customer service, • GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths, • Strong administration and organisational skills, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint, • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, • Previous administration experience within HR, training, education or professional services, • Experience of learning management systems (LMS), • Experience supporting training events or apprenticeship programmes What We Offer, • A supportive and collaborative working environment, • Exposure to a wide range of learning, development and early careers programmes, • Competitive salary and benefits package #J-18808-Ljbffr
