Day-to-day, you will: • Lead and support a team of engineers responsible for keeping our platforms stable, secure and high-performing, while also handling HR tasks like training plans and scheduling., • Help resolve technical issues and service requests using our internal ticketing system, ensuring we meet or exceed agreed service levels., • Provide guidance on infrastructure for our Direct Debit products and support environments across AWS and multiple data centres., • Drive improvements to how we work, from security patching and disaster recovery to systems monitoring and service automation. Your skills and experiences might also include: • Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, and tools such as Terraform for managing infrastructure., • A solid background in systems engineering across Windows, Linux, and databases like MySQL or AWS Aurora., • Knowledge of scripting (e.g. PowerShell or shell scripting) to automate tasks and streamline processes., • Familiarity with SSL certificate management, networking, and system monitoring tools like CloudWatch or Splunk.
