Barker Ross are looking for an experienced 360 Grab Operator to join a clients busy waste and recycling site based in Shepshed LE12. This is a hands-on, multitasking role involving grab operation, counterbalance FLT work, vehicle banksman duties, offloading incoming goods, and load traceability.This is a temp to perm position for the right candidateMonday to Friday 06:00 - 16:00 and pays £14.50 p/hRequirementsPrevious waste or recycling site experience preferredCompetent 360 grab / clamshell excavator operatorIdeally a Counterbalance FLT licenceExperience offloading HGVs, walking floors, and hook loadersConfident carrying out banksman / vehicle marshalling dutiesUnderstanding of load traceability, tickets, weights, and material codesFlexible attitude and willing to support all yard dutiesMain DutiesOperate grab to feed hoppers, manage stockpiles, and remove contaminantsUse FLT to offload, move, and load waste materialsSafely marshal HGVs and control vehicle movementsInspect incoming loads for contamination or prohibited wasteComplete load records, tickets, and daily machine checksKeep yard areas safe, clean, and operationalExperience & AttributesRecycling waste site experience preferredReliable, punctual, and safety consciousAble to multitask in a fast-paced yard environmentGood communication skills and team-focused attitudeHow to apply for the 360 Grab Operator job role: In the first instance please forward your CV.
