We are looking for a Maintenance Technician t o support the Production Engineering Manager in ensuring equipment, building and infrastructure are in good working order, flagging up areas of concern as appropriate. This is a Full Time role. Our standard working hours are 37 hours per week. Mon - Thurs 8am - 5pm, Fri 8am - 12pm. Main Responsibilities Assist Production Engineering Manager in his role Flag up any issueswithequipment / infrastructure Assist in upkeep andmaintenance of equipment and building, including record keeping Basic electrical tasks i.e. accessory replacement, equipment disconnection, lighting Use of a wide range of hand & power tools, such asdrills, grinders, sanders, impact driver, circular saws etc andensuring the safe use of them and how to maintain them Machine shop toolmaking Operation of lathe, mill, CNC mill, linisher, bandsaw, drill, grinding wheel, 3D printer Problem-solve day-to-day issues, seeking advice from the Production Engineering Manager as appropriate Ensure all Health and Safety procedures in the work area are observed and followed and that relevant PPE is worn at all times. To ensure housekeeping duties are carried out and work area and machinery is kept at the agreed standard.
