SHEET METAL WORKER We are recruiting for a Sheet Metal Worker to work for our client who are in Bradford, West Yorkshire. THE DUTIES OF A SHEET METAL WORKER: Tig Welding Producing high precision work Reading engineering drawings Welding thin plate stainless steel Fabricate from drawings Operate a press brake ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS: Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background. Excellent communication skills * Experience working on 5mm stainless plate and under, we use 1.2mm – 3mm stainless steel THE HOURS: Working on days Monday to Friday: 8:00 am – 4:30pm = 39 hours per week. This can be adjusted to suit travel time. THE PAY: You will earn an hourly rate of £14.50 - £16 an hour depending on experience. About the Role We are looking for a fully competent sheet metal worker and welder/fabricator who can work both in the workshop and on-site as required. The successful candidate should have strong experience working within a precision fabrication or manufacturing environment, producing high-quality components from engineering drawings.
