Our client is on the lookout for a talented and motivated Skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join their dynamic team in Wolverhampton! Summary: • Start date: April 2026, • Duration: 6 months - high potential to be extended or made permanent!, • Location: Wolverhampton WV10, • Pay Rate: £23.31 per hour, • Hours: 37 hours per week, • Rotating shifts:, • Mornings - Mon to Thursday 6 -1.45pm and Friday 6 - 12pm As a Skilled Sheet Metal Worker, you will play a crucial role in building high-quality Aluminium, Steel, and Inconel heat exchangers. Your attention to detail will ensure that every component meets the tight tolerances specified in engineering drawings. Here are some of your primary responsibilities: • Read and interpret engineering drawings with ease., • Form and shape components to fit build fixtures., • Work with thin gauge material while maintaining tight tolerances., • Conduct proof and leak tests at various stages of production., • Participate in Daily TPMs (Total Productive Maintenance)., • Collaborate with the production team to achieve monthly targets., • Uphold EH&S compliance at all times. To succeed in this role, you should have: • A recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience in a similar role., • Proficiency in using measuring equipment such as Vernier calliper's, micrometres, and height gauges., • Strong ability to read engineering drawings., • A good understanding of 5S principles., • Excellent teamwork skills., • Exciting Work Environment: Be part of a cutting-edge aerospace organisation where your skills will make a difference., • Growth Opportunities: This role opens doors for career advancement in a thriving industry.
