To be responsible and accountable for implementing the Healthy Communities Plan (and associated KPIs) for Bexley in line with national and local strategic priorities within the Bexley Health and Wellbeing Strategy, London Borough of Bexley Council: Corporate Plan and London Sport Strategy: LDN Moving strategy- building a strong, integrated service which identifies and meets the needs of the local community. Working with the Steps to Health team on site, Improve the health and wellbeing of local residents by identifying opportunities to add value to and provide exit routes from the Steps to Health service. Increase local physical activity levels, driving footfall into the leisure centres and maintaining a focus on the contract’s member retention plan, maximising opportunities for the community to access leisure facilities through new activity programmes, health initiatives and community programming across all facilities Have a strong knowledge of social media and other basic marketing platforms to increase the company’s visibility within the local community. Support the Contract Manager and Healthy Communities Team to provide reports as and when and secure appropriate funding Based out of Crook Log Leisure Centre but able and willing to travel Borough, Region and Group as and when required. The Person It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and commitment to customer service. The successful candidate should have extensive knowledge of the leisure industry. Be able to work flexibly, as and when the role requires (i.e. for events, programmes, training, meetings etc.) outside normal working hours.
