    Job Summary We specialise in the design and production of bespoke items. The role offers variety, stability and the chance to be involved in both production and one-off bespoke builds. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Steel Fabricator/MIG and TIG Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling steel components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in various welding techniques and fabrication processes will ensure the production of high-quality steel structures and parts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex projects, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to bring designs to life with durability and craftsmanship. Duties • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine fabrication requirements., • Perform welding using TIG and MIG welding techniques to join steel components securely., • Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and structural steel parts., • Measure materials accurately using basic math skills to ensure precise cuts and fits., • Prepare surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, or fitting parts together before assembly., • Conduct quality checks throughout the fabrication process to ensure adherence to safety standards and project specifications., • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use. Experience • Proven experience as a steel fabricator/welder with a strong portfolio of completed projects., • Skilled in TIG welding, Mig welding, and working with various types of steel materials., • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment used in steel construction., • Mechanical knowledge of structural components, assembly processes, and safety procedures., • Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements, cuts, and fit-up tasks accurately., • A Knowledge of reading engineering drawings., • Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious mindset, and ability to work independently or as part of a team., • Possible local site work as and when needed.
