Deputy Supported Housing Manager Complex Needs Services Are you a confident and compassionate leader with a strong background in supported housing One YMCA is looking for a Deputy Supported Housing Manager to oversee our complex needs services in Watford. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about making a difference. As Deputy Manager you will support the delivery of high-quality supported housing services for individuals with complex needs. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of services and the leadership of a dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment can manage multiple priorities and has a strong commitment to transforming lives Key Responsibilities Provide effective line management supervision and support to a team of 5 staff. Oversee the delivery of person-centred support for residents with complex needs. Ensure services meet all regulatory safeguarding and quality standards. Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners. Contribute to service development and continuous improvement. Ensure timely and appropriate interventions for residents including referrals and liaison with health social care and community services. Support recruitment training and induction of new team members About You Proven experience in managing supported housing or similar services. Strong leadership and team management skills with experience overseeing 5 staff including performance management and staff development Understanding of complex needs such as mental health substance misuse or homelessness. Hours per week: 37.5 Working Pattern: Monday to Friday About Us One YMCA and its subsidiaries the Early Childhood Partnership (ECP) and Signpost are on an exciting journey to double our impact by 2025. We are over half way through an exciting new strategy launched in the first hour of the new decade via email where all staff and volunteers were invited to put themselves forward to apply and attend an intensive three-day Kickstarter Event. By the end of these three days there was a brilliantly multi-faceted set of themes and ideas which formed the starting point for the rest of the Mission 25 process to build on. The aim of Mission 25 is to give every staff member and volunteer the opportunity to play their part in shaping the strategy to do more and better together so that we double our impact by 2025. We deliver a vast array of services across Herts Beds and Bucks that reach over 135000 individuals annually.
