Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant – Tuebrook (L13) Start Date: April 2026 Full Time | Long Term | £14.30 per hour + (DOE) Are you passionate about supporting children to achieve their best? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant to join a warm, supportive school in the Tuebrook (L13) area this April. The Role As a Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant, you will: • Work 1:1 or with small groups of pupils who require additional social, emotional, or behavioural support., • Implement personalised behaviour support strategies., • Assist the class teacher with interventions and general classroom management., • Contribute to a safe, engaging and positive learning environment. The Ideal Candidate We’re looking for someone who: • Has experience supporting children or young people with behavioural or emotional needs., • Remains calm, patient, and resilient when faced with challenges., • Can quickly build rapport and provide consistent, positive encouragement., • Understands (or is willing to learn) de-escalation techniques., • Is reliable, proactive, and passionate about making a difference.
