Overview: Haymarket is looking for a Cleaner to join the team and is committed to providing excellent service to the business. Our facilities team ensures our working environments are safe, clean, fully operational, and welcoming for all employees and visitors. The Role As a Cleaner, you will be part of a dedicated on-site team of three, working daily shifts from 3pm to 7pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). Our company headquarters in Twickenham features a bright, open-plan workspace supporting approximately 600 talented employees. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities - Execute daily cleaning routines across all office spaces, meeting rooms, kitchens, showers, and rest areas to maintain high standards. - Perform routine floor and surface care, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, wiping, and sanitising key touchpoints. - Monitor, replenish, and restock essential toiletries and cleaning supplies (such as hand soap, paper towels, and toilet paper). - Manage daily waste disposal by emptying floor bins and transporting waste and recycling to central collection points. - Inspect work areas proactively and notify management of any maintenance issues, repairs, or health and safety risks required. - Collaborate with the wider Facilities team to support ad-hoc operational tasks. Key Relationships The Cleaner role works closely with the Cleaning Team Supervisor and other Cleaning colleagues, and the wider on-site Facilities team. Skills / Experience / Knowledge / Minimum Criteria: Knowledge - Understanding of basic health, safety, and COSHH guidelines relevant to office cleaning. - Knowledge of standard hygiene practices and surface sanitisation techniques. - Awareness of waste management and office recycling processes. Skills - Strong cleaning skills with high attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and unsupervised. - Effective communication skills to liaise with team members and report issues. - Good teamwork and collaboration abilities within a shared shift pattern. - Practical physical capability and manual handling duties (lifting items weighing 10–15kg) Experience - Relevant experience working within a dedicated cleaning or facilities team. - Experience in office environments. - Demonstrated history of managing daily routine tasks efficiently and meeting quality standards. - Experience of working independently and unsupervised About You - Independent - Collaborative - Proactive - Adaptable It would be beneficial, if the candidate was Spanish speaking.
