The Role: As a Trainee SEN Support Worker, you will work alongside experienced teachers and SEND professionals to support pupils both in the classroom and during wider school activities. Your responsibilities may include: • Supporting pupils with MLD, ASD and ADHD to access learning, • Delivering one-to-one and small-group interventions, • Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills, • Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies, • Adapting learning activities to meet individual needs, • Encouraging engagement and participation throughout the school day, • Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families, • Assisting with classroom preparation and learning resources Every day is different, and you'll play a key role in helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve success.
