Contract: PermanentSalary: Offering up to £42,000 per annum depending on experience and skillsAs a Technical Compliance Supervisor, you will have a very varied role with a good mix of field based and office based reviews. Field based reviews will include attending site to assess works done against the scope of works and any relevant standards. Office based reviews will include reviewing images of work done and carrying out data analysis for more higher volume, low value works. What you’ll be doing as a Technical Compliance Supervisor As a supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the team, including 121s, development and day to day oversight of performance. • Building relationships is a key part of the role to work with operational colleagues and suppliers in reviewing procedures and operational delivery against industry standards/best practice. Where necessary the Technical Compliance Advisor will work with a variety of stakeholders and experts to produce guidance documents with the aim of introducing consistent standards across all our works., • The Technical Compliance Advisor will be naturally inquisitive, always looking for ways to improve compliance to asset/industry standards and deliver best value for money. With a starter finisher mindset this role will use its tenacity to ensure that improvements are embedded., • Prior experience of supervising a team, • Strong organisation and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail., • Proactive and flexible, • High quality report writing, • Inquisitive, • High level of commercial acumen, • Excellent MS Excel skills, • Experience in reading and interpreting construction drawings/asset standards, • Interpersonal skills/building relationships, • Knowledge of construction techniques, • Methodical approach to quality assurance What’s in it for you?, • Offering up to £43,000 per annum depending on experience and skills., • 24 days annual leave, • Travel will be required 1-2 times per week (dependent on business requirements) within the Thames Water estate to conduct site audits, attend contractor meetings and general site engagement., • Performance-related pay plan directly linked to company performance measures and targets, • Hybrid position based out of a convenient depot near your home address., • Contributory pension – Defined Contribution - Maximum of 12% -2x employee contribution., • Personal Medical Assessments – Open to all once a year.
