Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Gaydon, Warwick (Hybrid) Rate: £34.75ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or £25.90ph PAYE Employment Type: Contract (6 months) Hours: Standard 40 Hours Per Week Reference: J36369235 Purpose of the Role Support the successful integration of four CEX teams into a unified operating model by delivering robust process mapping to clarify responsibilities and new ways of working and support the effective delivery of work in the new org. Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end process mapping across CEX functions and adjacent teams (e.g., Regions/Markets, other Commercial and Enterprise teams), • Collaborate with CEX Unity Project leads to build a process inventory and define and document current and future state processes in AIRS ( business process management tool), • Engage with stakeholders across regions, brands, and functions to gather insights and validate process designs., • Identify duplication, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities., • Clarify responsibilities and accountabilities for tasks, activities, sign-offs and decisions within each process., • Identify and document hand-offs and interactions between teams across processes., • Support the development of RACI documents, operating model artefacts, and change impact assessments., • Contribute to the detailed organisation design and transition planning for CEX Unity., • Work closely with the Programme Manager, Project Managers, Organisation Design, People Partners, Comms and Change Managers to ensure timely and effective delivery. Skills & Experience • Proven experience in business analysis and process mapping (e.g. Visio, Lucidchart)., • Workshop facilitation., • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to navigate complex matrix environments., • Delivery-focused mindset with experience in transformation programmes., • Comfortable working in ambiguous and evolving environments. 1. End-to-End Process Mapping I have personally led end-to-end process mapping across multiple teams or functions (not only supported), using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or a BPM tool. Must be TRUE to progress. 2. Current-State & Future-State Design I have defined both current-state and future-state processes as part of an organisation design or transformation programme. Must be TRUE to progress. 3. Complex Stakeholder Engagement I have engaged in and facilitated workshops with stakeholders across multiple regions, brands, or functions to validate process designs. Must be TRUE to progress. 4. Governance, RACI & Handoffs I have created RACIs or similar governance artefacts and mapped cross-team handoffs to clarify responsibilities and decision points. This role sits within the Propulsion BEV Domain supporting vehicle testing activity across all our new Battery Electric Vehicle Platforms. It focusses on supporting the continual running of our prototype vehicle test fleet at a really exciting time in our development process. The team will carry out first level analysis on powertrain issues raised by vehicle owners for the powertrain and charging systems and ensure that the right teams are engaged in resolving issues and all learning is captured. Main functions/Key Performance Indicator • Carry out first level of analysis on issues raised by vehicle owners through log taking, • Ensure quality data is collected with a clear problem description, • Engage relevant teams in problem solving, • Support vehicle updates and prove out of issue resolution (e.g. flashing of software) Functional Teams to connect • Powertrain BEV Domain, • BEV Powerpack Test Team, • Propulsion Software Team, • Test Operations Team (EO), • Vehicle Engineering Team Your responsibilities: • Lead triage of powertrain & charging system issues identified on prototype vehicles, • Ensure quality data is captured and problem definition described and logged, • Lead issue resolution, where appropriate, to keep fleet running, • Assist in identifying appropriate ERA, ICA & PCA’s, • Liaise with testing teams to replicate issues on test rigs / vehicles., • Capture lessons learnt and ensure updates enacted on, as appropriate, across the vehicle fleet, • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, developing positive relationships and ensuring that information is shared from and to the domain as appropriate., • Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested Your Profile Essential: • Eagerness to resolve issues at vehicle level., • Understanding of the architecture and function of a BEV propulsion system, • Technical Expertise and experience of testing a high voltage component or system, • Data analysis and reporting of test data (using INCA or equivalent), • Natural problem solver with a structured approach to problem solving in a technical environment., • The ability to validate, prepare and read engineering documents, • To be inquisitive – The ability to evaluate and appropriately challenge existing ideas, processes and ways of working to optimise how we work as a team, • A full UK driving license, • The ability to travel freely between Client's engineering sites and test partners (with opportunity for overseas travel) Desirable: • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong influencing and engagement skills.
