FM Conway is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our successful Structures division. You will be working on an exciting project expanding our Aggregate and Asphalt division's portfolio and build our eighth Asphalt Plant in Wellingborough. As a Project Manager you'll be providing support to the contracts team, putting together PQQ's and advising on buildability, health and safety documentation and preparation of the works programme. This is a 12-18 month fixed-term contract, based full-time at our Wellingborough site. The duties of the Project Manager role will include: - Providing up to date budget and programming information at all project key stages - Managing, coordinating, reviewing and ensuring buildability of designs - Ensuring that the project is set up correctly with the appropriate resources allocated for the works i.e. plant, labour, materials and subcontractors, and ensuring works are maintained in accordance with the Structures Works package - Managing and coordinating with the project team ensuring all relevant applications, permits and approvals are in place and maintained throughout the works duration - Reviewing and ensuring compliance with subcontractor pre-start meetings, minutes and documentation prior to commencement on site - Drafting, coordinating and reviewing subcontract contract documents with the project Quantity Surveyor and internal commercial/contract team What skills and experience do you need? We are seeking a driven and skilled Project Manager with proven expertise in successfully delivering large-scale civil engineering, mechanical, and industrial/plant projects. You'll bring exceptional skills in resource planning, cost and value management, stakeholder engagement, and design management. To excel in this role, you'll need to hold a degree-level qualification or equivalent, such as NVQ Level 6, HNC, or HND in a construction-related field. A full UK driving licence is also essential. You will be working on an exciting project expanding our Aggregate and Asphalt division's portfolio and build our eighth Asphalt Plant in Wellingborough. As our Site Agent you will plan, execute and supervise the safe delivery of project works and maintain all site activities in accordance with the Structures work package plan. This is a 12-18 month fixed-term contract role, based full-time at our Wellingborough site. The duties of the Site Agent role will include: -Working in conjunction with the Project Manager to maintain and update the contract programme -Planning, coordinating and implementing work activities in accordance with the project timelines -Ensuring that all works are delivered in full compliance with all FMC Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies -Implementing and controlling all planned works including distribution of safe systems of work which includes site inductions, daily briefings, task assignment, risk reviews and toolbox talks -Coordinating all plant, equipment, materials and consumables needed for the delivery of works -Recording changes in project scope and assisting with project stakeholders What skills and experience do you need? We are looking for an experienced Site Agent with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of civil engineering, mechanical, and industrial/plant or rail environments. Previous experience within the aggregates industry or a similar sector would be highly advantageous. You will have demonstrable site management experience, with a clear ability to oversee projects from inception through to completion, and an excellent understanding of resource and supplier management. The successful candidate must hold a valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role. What benefits will you receive?
